Colleen Marie Schwartz Memorial Golf Outing

Mommy,

On September 14, 2013, we held the first and only Colleen Marie Schwartz Memorial Golf Outing! It was so much fun! The weather was nice but chilly at times, especially when the clouds covered the sun. About 50 people came out to play golf in memory of you! Everyone who signed up, showed up! Dad was so excited! I was on a team with Dad, Lindsay, and Aunt Joan. We legitimately came in last place but it's okay!

 At one point, Lindsay sunk the longest putt ever! We were all screaming! 

We definitely missed you Momma! 

After the outing was over we had a lunch to continue the celebration! Pastor Troy shared some very nice words about you. This was cool because there were people who played in our outing that had never met you! 

I love you so much and I hope that God sends you these pictures! Miss you!

The Year of Running

Hello World, It's me, Kelsey. I don't actually have a plan for this post but I should start by being honest...today's day is actually February 23, 2015. This post is time-stamped back in December but I haven't gotten around to writing it yet. Today's date is significant though...exactly one year ago today I was chasing that Princess Half dream, 13.1 miles down the road. So today seems like a good day to write about my year of running. To get a clear picture of how this year of running came to be we should time travel back to June 11, 2013. The day that registration opened for the 2014 Disney Princess Half Marathon. Heavenly Mail

I know Heaven is real. I cannot wait to get there and see my momma again. I wonder what Heaven is like? I try not to think too much about it because the thought of "forever" can be overwhelming for me.  I write letters to my momma on here. Does she read them? I don't know. I hope so and that alone is enough to keep me writing. When I was little I used to think that people in Heaven could see everything that I was doing. Today, that just doesn't make sense. I don't think my mom can look down and see me. It is too sad down here on Earth. I am too sad. She wouldn't want to see that. Heaven is filled with only joy and no tears or suffering.
